Frequently Asked Questions
Who is LifeCharge for?
LifeCharge is designed for teens and young adults who are capable and motivated but may feel overwhelmed by expectations, uncertain about next steps, or in need of clearer structure and guidance. It is especially helpful for students who benefit from reflection, organization, accountability, and practical tools.
Is LifeCharge tutoring, therapy, or college counseling?
No. LifeCharge is life navigation coaching. It focuses on decision-making, planning, organization, confidence, and real-world skills. It does not replace tutoring, therapy, or academic advising, but it often complements them well.
Does LifeCharge only focus on college?
No. College is discussed as one option, not the only one. LifeCharge helps students explore and evaluate multiple pathways, including college, career training, skill-based paths, entrepreneurship, and blended options. When college is chosen, students learn how to use that experience intentionally.
How is LifeCharge different from traditional guidance?
LifeCharge focuses on the whole participant. Rather than pushing toward a single outcome, teens and young adults learn how to understand themselves, identify what they need, and make informed decisions that fit how they think and learn. The emphasis is on skills that support long-term independence.
How are sessions structured?
Sessions are structured yet flexible. Individuals participate in guided reflection, discussion, and practical activities designed to build clarity, organization, and confidence. One-on-one coaching sessions are personalized, while group workshops follow weekly Pathway topics.
Will my child become dependent on coaching?
No. LifeCharge is designed to build independence. Participants are taught how to think through decisions, advocate for themselves, and apply skills on their own. The goal is confidence and self-navigation, not reliance.
What kind of individuals benefit most?
